Viano 230 V bird deterrent device

The original electronic bird deterrent from the Polish manufacturer Viano is designed to scare away crows, starlings, pigeons, sparrows, thrushes, and other birds. The device emits recorded predatory bird calls, helping to protect gardens, vineyards, plantations, fields, and other monitored areas. Thanks to a powerful audio amplifier, it can cover an area of up to 6000 m². This is a reliable solution when birds are damaging crops or fouling protected areas.

Bird deterrent with radar motion sensor

Viano is equipped with a 5.8 GHz radar that detects motion up to 12 meters away at a 360° angle. Upon detecting an intruder, the device automatically triggers a deterrent signal. The radar sensor is less sensitive to rain and snow than standard PIR motion sensors. Motion detection and periodic sound emission can be used simultaneously. The sound interval is adjustable from 4 to 120 minutes, and the volume can be set smoothly from 0 to 100%, allowing the operation to be tailored to the protected area.

Operating modes

In the first mode, the radar detects motion and allows sounds to be emitted at set intervals. In the second mode, sounds are emitted only at selected time intervals without using the radar. An integrated twilight switch prevents sound activation after sunset, allowing the device to operate more efficiently and cause less disturbance to the surroundings at night.

The device can be powered from a 230 V electrical outlet or a 12 V battery. This provides more installation options in locations without a power grid. The battery is not included; an 18 Ah or higher capacity battery is recommended for optimal outdoor operation.
