Adjustable 16–60 kHz frequency allows adapting operation to different situations and animal species. The PIR sensor detects motion at an angle of up to 110°, so the device is activated when an animal appears nearby. With varying ultrasonic frequency, it is more difficult for animals to get used to it. The device operates quietly, is environmentally friendly, consumes little energy, and emits no radiation. The robust ABS casing and IPX4 splash protection allow the device to be used indoors and outdoors. It requires 3 AA batteries for power.
