The Kraft&Dele KD1914 is a battery charger with a starter function designed for 12 V and 24 V lead-acid batteries. It features a 45 A charging current, with a maximum specified starting current reaching 180 A. The device can be used in automotive workshops, professional service centers, or home garages when there is a need to charge a battery or assist in starting an internal combustion engine.
12 V and 24 V battery charger with starter function
The charger is powered by a 230 V, 50 Hz power grid and is suitable for batteries with a capacity of 20–500 Ah. It allows for the selection of either 12 V or 24 V charging voltage, making it adaptable to different vehicles and equipment. The fast charging function increases the current and can speed up charging, especially when working with higher-capacity batteries. A built-in analog ammeter helps monitor the charging process.
The starter function can be useful when the battery is discharged or during low ambient temperatures. One starting cycle lasts up to 5 seconds, followed by a 30-second break; a maximum of 5 cycles can be performed at once, after which a longer break is required. Before using the device, select the appropriate voltage for the battery and follow the operating instructions and safety requirements.
Robust construction and convenient use
The openings in the metal housing help ventilate and cool the device during operation, while the sturdy handle makes it easy to carry. The included power cables allow for connecting the charger according to the instructions. A replaceable spare fuse is useful in case of burnout. The device packaging also includes a user manual, where you will find information regarding connection and operation.
