The Asato wireless carbon monoxide (CO) detector, also known as a CO alarm, is an important safety device for every home. It detects invisible and odorless carbon monoxide and warns of danger with an audible and visual signal. The integrated LCD screen displays the detected gas concentration from 0 to 999 PPM, as well as information about a weakening battery or device malfunction. Powered by batteries, the detector can be installed in a chosen location without connecting to the mains.

When a dangerous level of CO is detected, an 85 dB alarm sounds, a red LED indicator flashes, and audible warnings are provided. A green LED indicator flashes every 30 seconds when the device is operating in normal standby mode. The clear LCD screen allows convenient monitoring of gas levels and timely detection of battery or system status messages. An integrated test button helps check if the alarm is working properly, and a reset function allows the device to be reset after a false alarm or after the threat has been removed.

The compact white casing takes up little space, and its dimensions of 100 × 100 × 38 mm allow the device to be easily adapted to various rooms. The detector is intended for continuous monitoring, but its operation does not replace a proper ventilation system, regular maintenance of heating equipment, and responsible handling of combustion devices. It is recommended to test the device at least once a year. The stated operating life is up to 3 years.
